Volkl Vostra 8 285 Tennis Racquets

Volkl Vostra V8 285 Tennis Racquet

The Volkl Vostra V8 285 gives improving players a fast, spin-friendly alternative to heavier performance racquets. Its 100 sq in head and 285g unstrung weight make it easy to accelerate, while the open 16x18 pattern helps generate spin and useful depth. It offers less mass and stability than the heavier Vostra V8 models, but rewards players who prioritize maneuverability and easier racquet-head speed.

Ideal For

Beginner to intermediate players who want a lightweight performance racquet with easy handling, spin access, controllable power, and a comfortable response.

Key Benefits

• Fast Handling: The 285g unstrung weight makes the racquet easy to accelerate, helping improving players generate racquet-head speed without managing a heavier frame.
• Spin-Friendly Response: The open 16x18 pattern and Super Grommets promote string movement and snapback for easier spin generation.
• Controllable Power: The 100 sq in head provides useful pace and forgiveness while maintaining enough precision for players developing fuller swings.
• Smoother Feel: REDCELL construction combines V-Cell carbon fiber with REVA resin, while dampening elements in the handle help reduce unwanted vibration.
